The Williams Academy acknowledges the importance of athletics as an integral component of a student’s complete educational development. As such, we believe that all students should have the opportunity to participate in some form of interscholastic athletics. Such involvement should encourage positive scholastic and social growth and accomplishment. The Williams Academy uses positive reinforcement throughout each sporting activity to ensure our students achieve their intended goals.
The Williams Academy expects all athletic participants to exhibit good sportsmanship conduct, role modeling and team building skills. The Williams Academy measures success by reflecting on how well participants gave their best effort and prepared for each event to the best of their ability.
Students who show an interest toward athletics and earn the privilege through the school-wide behavior management system are offered the opportunity to participate in football, basketball, softball and soccer. Additionally, The Williams Academy Summer Olympics consists of football, basketball and track. Each student in attendance at The Williams Academy is offered the opportunity to participate in all athletic events.
